As someone who has been a bridesmaid a handful of times, please, please, please, do not do a stack of books!! (I live with chronic pain so this is probably why this one scares me.) One, ok. I made my own! It was hot pink and green that matched my green halter neck cocktail dress. :) I look terrible in white, I wanted my wedding to be fun and unconventional, and it was. Still get compliments on it almost 20 years later when people see my wedding pictures

As long as it carried throughout the whole wedding/reception as part of the theme, it’s cute. On random sign looks like a mistake was made and someone filled in.

I think it could work, but it’s not for everyone. It would definitely have to be done throughout all of the decor to be cohesive.

We did hand painted signs for our ceremony (those garden signs on wooden boards that have the "love is kind" bit. It was sooooo much work just for those 8 pieces of wood. And we definitely had to redo it a couple times lol

I saw a VERY cute one on pinterest that had the Disney's Cinderella mice and birds on it, as if they were finishing the veil for you while you walked down the aisle! So cute!! I don’t know if I'll even end up choosing something like that or not, but it definitely got saved to my pinterest board!
